In this WebQuest you have been set the task to investigate the age-old issue: Does it make more financial sense to BUY your own house or to RENT a house for your lifetime? This is a complex issue as no two people are the same. Although you can take the advice of other people into account, it is ultimately you own decision to make, based on YOUR personal circumstances. In this task you are going to investigate and research various factors that can help you with your decision. You will compare the pros and cons of each option and in the process learn about real-life concepts like finding a house to buy or rent, budgeting and calculating loan repayments!
